LDI Replication Lab

The LDI Replication Lab works on pre- and post-publication verification of data and code for journal articles. We check if the documentation is comprehensible, and verify that the code provided by the authors runs, and produces expected results.

Our flagship project is the work supporting the AEA Data Editor. More than 200 students have helped to verify the transparency and reproducibility of articles published in the American Economic Review and other AEA journals since 2018.
